How a recruiting firm maps onto JobMedium

Where your clients, job orders, candidates and placements sit on JobMedium, and how the same firm can share client searches and also work orders from the network.

JobMedium doesn't ask a firm to move its desk. Here's where each part of a recruiting firm's work sits when it uses the network alongside what it already runs, so you can judge the fit before you commit to anything.

Why we're talking to recruiting firm owners first

No two specialist firms run the same way. An AI recruiting firm works a market where the strongest candidates are rarely looking and a single hire can take months. A ClimateTech firm often recruits people across from other industries and has to sell the mission as much as the role. A startup engineering firm moves fast and works closely with founders. A quant desk places people where compensation is complex and discretion is everything.

Those differences matter because they decide what a network has to get right: how searches are shared, how candidates are protected, and how quickly things need to move. We'd rather learn them from the people who run these firms than guess, so they're the first people we're talking to.

Your clients stay your clients

Client records, contacts and terms belong to your account and stay private to it. When you share a search with the network, you share the role, not the client.

Your open roles become job orders

Each order carries its requirements, its terms and its own pipeline. You can work it with your own desk, or share it as a Shared Job Order when it needs more candidate reach.

Spare capacity has somewhere to go

When the desk has room, your recruiters can work Direct Job Orders from employers and Shared Job Orders, which other recruiting firms open from their own authorized client searches, in your specialism.

Your candidate relationships stay yours

Your candidate book belongs to you, and you can submit from it against any order in a couple of clicks. Someone who's wrong for your client might be exactly right for another order in the network.

Terms are agreed up front

Fees and shares are set before anyone starts and locked when they're accepted, so invoicing follows the work instead of being pieced together at month end.

Ownership disputes become a record

Every candidate introduction is recorded. Who introduced whom, and when, stops being a matter of memory.

What we still want from you

We're building the partner side of this now, with our first 25 Founding Partners. Whether this holds up against how your firm actually works is exactly what we want to hear, so join the waitlist and tell us where it breaks, or see what we're building for recruiters.
