JobMedium today set out what founding members pay, with terms that differ by audience and are locked rather than introductory.
Job seekers keep a core platform that is free forever, covering search, profile, applying, and alerts. Founding members also get Premium, normally $9.99 a month, free for their first twelve months.
Employers get 50% off every paid plan for as long as the subscription stays active, putting Hire at $49 a month instead of $99 and Scale at $149 instead of $299. Founding employer accounts start on the Founding Free plan, every feature of the top standard plan free for the first year with no payment method on file and nothing that converts to paid billing automatically, rather than the 14-day trial that becomes standard at launch, and a free tier remains available throughout.
Independent recruiters pay nothing to join and get every platform feature. The platform earns only when a placement is made, taking half the standard platform cut, locked to the account for life, and a founding recruiter’s first placement is free.
“Launch discounts that quietly expire are a marketing tactic, not a thank-you,” said Suraj Adhikari, founder of JobMedium. “We wanted the offer to still mean something in year three.”
Founding terms go to the first 200 recruiters in software engineering and IT. Recruiter 201 joins on the standard terms of the day, and founding terms close for employers and job seekers at the same moment.
